Jörn Frenzel graduated from TU Berlin in 1998. He has since worked and lived in Hong Kong, London, Moscow, Reykjavik, Tallinn and Berlin. Special interests and working areas are complex spatial systems and projects that link urban and natural landscape.
He received the Global Award For Sustainable Architecture with the vatnavinir team, Reykjavik in 2011. To date, this prize has been awarded to architects such as Kengo Kuma, raumlabor, Christopher Alexander or Sami Rintala. In 2014 he was nominated for Iakov Chernikhov prize.
